Sri Vummidi Bangaru Chetty laid the foundation for our brand in 1900, and since then, it has been our passion to not only sustain, but build our legacy. A homegrown brand in Chennai, we have proudly served over five generations of clients, including dignitaries and common people alike. Among our prestigious commissions is the Sengol, created in 1947, which now graces the new Parliament.

Our Founders

Prashanth Vummidi represents the fourth generation of the Vummidi Bangaru Chetty legacy. With over 35 years of experience, he has been deeply involved in jewellery making and diamond manufacturing since the early 1990s.

Kalpana Vummidi, with her extensive expertise and passion for jewellery, personally guides each client through the design process. She listens intently to their desires and ideas, ensuring that every piece is a true reflection of their unique taste and personality. Whether it’s a custom engagement ring, a redesign of a family heirloom, or a bespoke creation for a special occasion, every detail is meticulously crafted to perfection.
